In recognition of the growth and specialism of OgilvyOne Business within the OgilvyOne team a new leadership team has been appointed across both B2B and B2C disciplines. Sam Williams-Thomas becomes CEO, and Clare Lawson, previously Joint MD of OgilvyOne Business is promoted to Managing Director UK. Drew Nicholson, current CEO and Domi Pettifar, Joint Managing Director, have decided to leave the agency in June. They remain shareholders in the business.
The new team will be responsible for driving OgilvyOne Business forward, helping the teams in London and Shere to transform and delight clients as OgilvyOne Business looks to maintain its dominant leadership position in the industry.
Further to this OgilvyOne Business and OgilvyOne will be closer aligned as they will now report into one executive OgilvyOne team, which will be led by Jo Coombs, the Chief Executive who partners with Charlie Wilson the new Creative Chairman and Ann Higgins as Chief Strategy Officer.
Annette King, CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Group UK, said “Jo Coombs & Sam Williams-Thomas are the embodiment of our vision of a Customer Agency of the future, Sam is committed to driving our specialist B2B agency forward as part of the wider OgilvyOne family.
We are of course sad at the same time to say goodbye to Drew and Domi, and our sincere thanks goes to both of them for their support over the last two years and for all they have done to help build OgilvyOne Business into the number one B2B agency in the UK.”
As Sam Williams-Thomas, CEO of OgilvyOne Business comments: “I’m passionate about B2B and the opportunity to grow OgilvyOne Business as part of the customer agency, with all our specialist talent and the global firepower within OgilvyOne Worldwide.”
