How do you change perceptions and educate a new audience?
Small businesses looking to export presented a new opportunity for UPS. However, they perceived UPS to be too global to address their unique needs. Our challenge was to find a way to inspire fledgling exporters to take the first step.
Research revealed how little novice exporters knew about the exporting process. So, to educate them, we created the UPS Export Engagement Toolkit. It helped small business owners overcome their fear of the unknown, by providing all the support and information they need to explore new export markets.
The programme doubled awareness of UPS export opportunities and increased engagement with UPS by four times higher than was expected.
